Is Creativity Reserved for Artists?

A key element I personally struggle with is that of creating something that is physically pleasing to the eye. Whether it is practically useful or not is another story altogether.

That said the frustrations that accompany the creative process, at least for me, has one questioning whether or not “Creativity is strictly the domain of the Artist”? And my sincere belief is that it is not. Consider the myriad of vocations and fields of practice within any of these markets or verticals. Practically every field requires some sort of creativity, whether it is applied within a research process, marketing activity or even day-to-day office management function.

In short Creativity is the underlying basis of Problem Solving, no? One needs to approach many problems with a creative mindset in order to either solve the problem or to create a new process that will ultimately excel within that given vertical.
